Biography
De’Ante T. Duckett, affectionately known as D. Tyree, is a multi-talented individual excelling as a Preacher, Singer, Songwriter, Personal Stylist, and Event Planner. Hailing from Los Angeles, he has a rich musical background rooted in the church, where he began singing at the age of 2 and directing at the age of 13. Duckett has served in various churches in the Greater Metropolitan area of Los Angeles and currently holds the position of Praise and Worship leader and director at the Greater Emmanuel Temple
Apostolic Church.
Remaining connected to his local musical community, Duckett is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, where he serves as one of the assistant directors of the local chapter. He is also a co-founder of "The Trilogy Group," leading alongside his brothers Tony Jones and Jamelle Jones.
In 2019, Duckett furthered his education by enrolling at California Baptist University in their Worship and Arts Program.
Duckett's songwriting prowess has led him to write for various choirs and groups across the United States, including notable ensembles such as The Los Angeles Contemporary Choir, Patrick Riddick and D’vyne Worship, Christopher Ervin and Abrahams Descendants, andmore. One of his songs, "God Will Take Care of You," was featured in the 2017 movie "A Question of Faith."
He has a new song featured on Ricky Dillard’s latest project Choir Master II titled Bless His Name that he co-wrote with Ricky Dillard.
Delivery Me, DéAnte’s latest single from his blockbuster sophomore album "Survivor’s Code," was birthed while in the studio during the pandemic and remains in the Top 10 on the Gospel Top 40 Charts.
His previous project "Forgiven" was considered for a Best Gospel Album Nomination on the 2021 Grammy Academy Ballot.
